A Board Game Interpretation
A tabletop game essentially mimicking the aesthetics of Nintendo’s Mario Kart series. In this four-player game, players will maneuver their karts around the “Mario Circuit” track in a race to the finish. At various points, power-ups will be gained, allowing players to either protect themselves or hinder others. The first to end up where the race begins, wins the game!
Skills developed: Brainstorming board layout/art and cards/powerups, game balancing and tweaking, playtesting and playtest reporting, collaborating with 4 other team members, creating a pitch video and writing up game documentation (rulebook).
